Refund Policy
Last updated July 31, 2026.
The short version
If you're not happy with a traced video, tell us within 14 days of the purchase and we'll refund it. No forms, no questions, no arguing.
Failed traces cost nothing
If the ball can't be found in your clip, you get your video back unchanged and it doesn't use up a purchased video — so there's nothing to refund.
Season passes
A season pass can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase if you haven't traced more than two videos with it. After that, contact us anyway — we're reasonable, and we'd rather refund you than have an unhappy customer.
If you're in the EU or UK
You have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a distance purchase. Because we deliver digital content immediately, checkout asks you to request immediate delivery and acknowledge that this ends the withdrawal right once your trace begins — this is a legal requirement, not a trick. If you haven't started a trace, your full statutory right stands. And either way our 14-day policy above applies, so in practice you get the same outcome.
How to ask
Email support@vidgolf.com or reply to your receipt, and include the approximate date of purchase. Purchases are handled by Paddle as merchant of record, so you can also request a refund directly through the link on your Paddle receipt. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within a few business days — the exact timing depends on your bank.
Please ask before charging back
If something's wrong, one email fixes it faster than a chargeback and we've never said no to a reasonable request. Chargebacks take weeks and cost us a fee on top of the refund — but if you've emailed us and had no reply within a few days, do what you need to do.
