Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything happens right here on this page, on your phone, tablet, or computer. If you can watch a video, you can use VidGolf.
How should I film my swing?
Have someone stand a few paces directly behind you and hold the phone steady (or lean it on your bag). Daylight works best. If your phone has slow-motion, use it. The ball shows up sharper. Trim the clip so it starts just before your swing.
What happens to my videos?
They're processed automatically. Your original upload is deleted after 7 days; the traced video stays in your history for 90 days so you can come back for it, then deletes itself too. We never post, share, or sell them. The traced video is yours.
What if the ball can't be found in my video?
It happens, usually in low light or with a very shaky camera. You'll get your video back unchanged, you can press "Try again with AI" for a second attempt, and the filming tips above fix it almost every time.
Is it really free?
